The Influence of Information Literacy and Self Efficacy towards Managerial Performance Mediated by Strategic Management Accounting at Banking Companies in Pekanbaru

Abstract


This research aims to investigate how information literacy and self efficacy through Strategic Management Accounting (SMA) influence managerial performance. The population of the research was the whole managerial employees working at some banking companies in Pekanbaru. The data were collected through a survey carried out by sending and delivering 125 questionnaires to several banks in Pekanbaru. A path analysis was done as a method of data analysis. The result indicates that the information literacy, self efficacy and strategic management accounting are proven to have positive effect towards the managerial performance. The strategic management accounting is capable to facilitate the relationship between information literacy and self efficacy and managerial performance.
