Abstract


Learning mathematics in the school needs full attention to concern in improving the quality of true value and quality of learning mathematics. To realize that goal, one of the most crucial factors is the learning process itself. A teacher should can create a quality learning conditions that the students delighted in following the mathematics learning that will ultimately have an impact on increasing students' mathematics learning outcomes. The work done to improve the activity and student learning outcomes is through the implementation of cooperative learning group investigation. Group investigation is one form of cooperative learning activities that emphasize student participation to raise awareness and activity of students seeking their own material (information) lessons to be learned through the materials available and to develop students' knowledge through the material to perform as a survey so as to trains students to think independently and be active in learning.
